Amazing book!
By MoeQas
Sayyid Ammar really never fails. It is very sad what is happening with Hujr Ibn Adi today, many years after his death. He is truly a victim of terror. Sayyid Ammar mentions the history around him and with Mu'awiyah and Abu Sufyan. Amazing book!

This is a much better work, with references to more credible sources
By Howitzer
This is a much better work, with references to more credible sources.Particularly interesting is the account of rebellions under Mauwiayh and the way he dealt with them. Not sure if I missed this but Hujr's participation in the Ridda wars and the wars of conquest is noteworthy esp showing his willingness to be part of the establishment of the first 2 caliphs. Also Hujr's protest at the armistice of Hasan with Muaiwyah are noteworthy particularly the strong language he used against Hasan.Despite this his loyalty to house of Ali is unquestionable , what is unclear is were his beliefs identical to those of the Present day 12er Imami shias ?
